Gaby Rodriguez, a high school senior in Toppenish, Washington took on quite a challenge this year. Pregnancy.

I know, there are plenty of pregnant teens in America, but Gaby was different. Because Gaby wasn't really pregnant. She faked her pregnancy (with the cooperation of the school's principal and a few others) in order to conduct a social experiment. While her parents were in the loop, six of her seven siblings thought, just like everyone else, that she was pregnant.

The topic of her social experiment? "Stereotypes, rumors and statistics."

As part of her revelation to the student body, her teachers and her family, on the day that she removed her faux baby bump, she had several people in the audience stand up and read some words off of index cards. Those cards contained comments and rumors that Gaby had heard about herself throughout the 6-and-a-half months that she was "pregnant".

This is quite the experiment for a young girl to undertake! You can learn more about it from the Everett, Washington Herald.
