Scheduled to kick off on May 4th and run through 12th, the Tulip Time festival is stragically planned so that the best of the blooms hit right as the festival kicks off. But due to an extremely mild winter, we're seeing Tulips and other flowers already popping up across West Michigan.

If you lived in West Michigan in 2012, you may remember the infamous 'Stem Fest' that happened when the tulips bloomed far too early in the year, leaving the tulip fields in Holland to be barren and just full of stems.
