Kentwood Police are asking for the public's help identifying a hit and run driver who injured a bicyclist last weekend, FOX 17 reports. 

The incident occurred Saturday, Sept. 17 around 1:15a.m. at the Intersection of 36th Street and Broadmoor Avenue.

The bicyclist, 26-year-old Jeremy Carlson, was riding westbound on 36th Street when he attempted to cross over Broadmoor.

He was struck by what police believe to be a 1999-2003 Mitsubishi Galant. The driver then left the scene, continuing on Broadmoor.

Carlson remains in the hospital with a head injury. Police say the suspected vehicle may have damage to the passenger side.
