Your Facebook Post Ruined Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day was Sunday, and social media was abuzz with all the greatness of our moms!  Actually I can’t believe how many moms are “the Best Mom In The World.”  I’m guessing a lot of our moms would be surprised with that acknowledgement as well; if she ever saw it.   Cracked.com put together a great video on how social media has ruined Mother’s Day and it’s spot on. We put are so open to tell our friends how great mom is, but fail to tell her.   Actually, it’s so spot on, I’m guilty of doing the same thing!

But later in the day when I talked to her on the phone, never mentioned any of it!  And as of this posting at 2:30pm on Monday, she still hasn’t liked it either, meaning she still hasn’t come across it.
