It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...not really, at all.

Winter in West Michigan is pretty much here, but Santa might have to opt for the Santa-chopper instead of the sleigh! Last week we saw a few snow flakes, this week it's back to fall temperatures.

The National Weather Service is predicting mid 40s for the first day of winter, which falls on Tuesday, and temperatures way above normal for Wednesday. Don't be surprised if the dashboard in your car reads somewhere in the 60s.

Temperatures will fall off toward the end of the week, but only fall back into the low to mid 40s. It doesn't look like we'll be anywhere near freezing during the daytime anytime soon.

As for the sun, take some vitamin D3 because NWS says we'll be seeing rain showers and clouds most of the week, with some sun on Christmas.
