West Michigan Whitecaps Reveal Top Ten Food Finalists For Menu
The West Michigan Whitecaps are no stranger to odd menu items. In fact, it’s become their trademark.
The Whitecaps have been accepting submissions for food ideas for this year’s menu. The submissions have been reviewed and the ten finalists have been announced.
No 4,800 calorie burger this year, but still a few items that would be best if shared.
Here are this year’s finalists:
- Chicken and Waffles
- Curried Chicken Lettuce Wrap
- Deep Fried Root Beer Float
- Giant Meatball
- Hot Beef Sundae
- Pasties
- Scotch Eggs
- Three Little Pigs
- Wasabi Spicy Sausage
- Westside Po’ Boy
Pasties and Giant Meatball sound good. Deep Fried Root Beer Float…have we finally jumped the shark on deep frying? Anything with the words “lettuce wrap” in it’s title will never get my vote. Hot Beef Sundae? That just sounds nasty.
My vote goes to the Giant Meatball, but I think Pasties will win.
