West Michigan Road Construction Suspended For Holiday Weekend
The Michigan Department of Transportation is suspending most road projects for the holiday weekend.
Three road projects in West Michigan will continue, however.
Road work will continue on 36th Street at U.S. 131 and Hall Street and 131, the Fuller Avenue ramp on I-196 will be closed for the weekend.
The other projects will be stopped at 3p.m. today and remain that way until Tuesday morning at 6 a.m. MDOT says 89 of the projects being suspended will be free of lane restrictions for the holiday. The full work schedule can be found at MDOT’s website.
