Well, if residents of one Grand Rapids' neighborhood were looking to make a memory, they succeeded!

The incident, Grand Rapids Police are referring to as a "loud gathering," happened around 11 p.m. Saturday on Giddings Avenue SE, according to Fox 17. Neighbors called police with complaints of loud music, a light show, bonfire, and about 100 loud people.

When police arrived the resident of the home refused to turn the music off, or even make attendees leave. This did not go over well, as she was placed under arrest for "creating and permitting a disturbance."

The situation did not get any better.

The woman tried to pull away from police, and as police tried to put the cuffs on her, party goers decided to step in. That's when things got real nasty, real quick.

More police were called from East Grand Rapids, Kentwood and the Michigan State Police, Fox 17 reports more than 35 officers were on scene.

Police ended up arresting eight party goers for creating a disturbance and resisting arrest, one was even tased for pushing while officers were trying to make an arrest.
