You don't need Hollywood connections or a plane ticket to attend a major film festival. One of "the top five film festivals in the world" kicks off next month in Saugatuck.  The 13th Annual Waterfront Film Festival is June 9 - 12 and passes are now available!

The movie line-up will not be released until later this month, but rest assured, there will be some seriously good films. Previous festivals have included the Midwestern premieres of Academy Award winning documentaries Man On Wire in 2009 and March Of The Penguins in 2006.

Not interested in a highbrow film festival that's all about documentaries?  Good.  There's a lot more to WFF. WFF has also premiered Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle, Napoleon Dynamite, Open Water, and The Descent.  They had me at "Harold and Kumar".

The Waterfront Film Festival began in 1999 and is a volunteer based, non-profit organization. Visit Waterfront Film Festival's website for more details including opportunities to volunteer.
