Have you ever passed a semi-truck, only to realize traffic is slower than you anticipated, and you end up slamming your brakes on in front of the semi? That's a risky thing to do, and this truck driver explains.

Eric Bracey took this PSA to Facebook to remind other drivers that a fully loaded semi can't stop on a dime. In fact, it can't even stop on a football field if it's traveling 60 M.P.H.

Bracey explains it takes over 400 feet for a 44,000 pound semi, traveling at 60 M.P.H to come to a complete stop.

Frightening, considering this fact doesn't cross most of our minds when we're driving our own cars around these big rigs.
