Top 2 Most Dangerous Fireworks!

May your Fourth-of-July be happy and injury free!
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission there were 9,500 fireworks-related emergency room visits last year.
It’s no surprise that more men than women get hurt and the top firework to protect your child from is a bottle rocket. They fire up to 200 mph, explode mid-air and in multiple directions causing a ton of eye injuries.
The second most common injury is from my favorite firework … sparklers! Apparently, each wand can get up to 1,800 degrees once it’s fully burning, which is hot enough to melt gold. Yikes!!
So, no matter how tempted you are to light up a bottle rocket or run free with a sparkler … make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get out of the way if anything unexpectedly explodes, have a bucket nearby to douse your sparkler, and it may even be a good idea to have a first aid kit on hand.
