Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink Will Likely Close Right After It Opens Due To Weather
The Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink is set to open Friday, November 30th in correspondence with the Grand Rapids Art Museum's Tree Lighting Ceremony, but it won't remain open for long. The high on Friday may only be in the 40s, but with temperatures expected to raise to around 60 this weekend, the rink will likely not be open for real until early next week.

We just recently had a dusting of snow here in Grand Rapids, so the heavy stuff is soon to be here over the next few weeks. Driving for sure will be terrible and we will have accidents everywhere. Driving in the snow can be dangerous, but it reminds us, how we turn left in Michigan in the winter.

Record Setting Heat Continues In West Michigan
If you are into unseasonable temperatures, this is the week for you. Today marks the 10th day in a row for temperatures above 60 degrees. One more day like this (which we will have) and a new record will be set for consecutive days above 60 degrees in March. Today will also shatter a record set 1921, Grand Rapids will reach 86° - over 10° warmer than the 1921 record.

It's hot and it's going to stay that way for a while in West Michigan.
Rain, Rain, & More Rain Forecasted For Grand Rapids
I hope you enjoyed the warm sunshine we had on Easter Sunday, like I did, because it may have been our only break from bad weather for another long stretch of time!
Starting today through Thursday we are expected to get at least two inches of rain that may cause flooding along the Grand and Thornapple Rivers.
