Hard to believe September is here, isn't it? Seems like the summer went awfully fast.
But here it is, Labor Day. And if you're looking for something to do today, I'd like to point you toward Ah-Nab-Awen Park in Grand Rapids for Labor Fest 2014...
The yearly Grand Crossings Bridge Walk is set for Monday morning in downtown Grand Rapids.
The walk will start at 8 a.m. at Ah-Nab-Awen Park at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and will be led by Grand Rapids Mayor George Heartwell.
To make travel easier, the Michigan Department of Transportation will lift most road restrictions over Labor Day weekend, with 126 of 156 construction projects having lane restrictions lifted for the weekend.
