Ghostbusters

Came across this pretty great remake of the Ghostbusters trailer, but with middle school girls instead of grown men. It's pretty adorable, but it's also REALLY well made. And who knew that Bill Murray's lines would sound so natural coming out of the mouth of a teenage girl?

To commemorate the film’s 30th anniversary, Ray Parker, Jr.’s "Ghostbusters" theme song was reissued for April’s Record Store Day on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. On Oct. 21, the song will be re-released again, but this time it will be on 12-inch white vinyl and will smell like marshmallows.

There are a few ways you could celebrate the 30th anniversary of 'Ghostbusters'. You could watch the film again with the new 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray. You could sing Bobby Brown's "On Our Own" at karaoke. Or, you could gorge yourself on sweet 'Ghostbusters' inspired donuts at Krispy Kreme. (We choose the latter.)

Kittens remaking hit movies is my new jam. Previously, thanks to Pet Collective, we've seen kittens remake such cinematic masterpieces as The Little Mermaid and The Lion King, and a pug remake of Home Alone. And now, following the death of Harold Ramis, they have remade one of my favorite movies of all time - Ghostbusters.
