Newly Signed ‘Kelsey’s Law’ Will Ban Teen Drivers From Using Cell Phones [Audio]
January 9, 2013 Late Tuesday, one mother's hard work from the last two years paid off in a big way. Bonnie Raffaele, whose daughter Kelsey was tragically killed in an accident in 2010, got to see "Kelsey's Law" signed by Governor Rick Snyder. The law, which affects teen drivers in Michigan, prohibits the use of cell phones while driving. I had a chance to talk to Bonnie this afternoon about Kelsey's Law and what it means to her. How To Turn Left In The UP [Video]
November 13, 2012 We just recently had a dusting of snow here in Grand Rapids, so the heavy stuff is soon to be here over the next few weeks. Driving for sure will be terrible and we will have accidents everywhere. Driving in the snow can be dangerous, but it reminds us, how we turn left in Michigan in the winter.

Facebooking and Driving: Quit it!
Visiting my parents for Christmas, I saw church sign in my small town that hit home: "Honk if you love Jesus... Text while driving if you want to meet him." Texting and driving is dangerous... I know that, but even I will admit to the occasional quick text at a red light, or while stuck in traffic. But really, I should quit it-- what is so that important that I can't wait until I get to my destination? It's a terrible habit I need to break.
