After three years of being in the national spotlight, Casey Anthony was found not guilty of killing her 2-year old daughter, Caylee. The verdict was reached today (July 5) after 10 hours of deliberations. Had Casey been found guilty, she would have faced the death penalty.
Casey was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated manslaugter, aggravated child abuse and four counts of lying to the police. The 25-year old was acquitted of all charges except for providing false information to authorities. Judge Belvin Perry will sentence Casey on July 6.
