This past week designer Jean Paul Gaultier paid homage to Amy Winehouse at his Paris runway show. Models wore super-high beehives, thick winged eyeliner, and some even sported moles and smoked cigarettes, while a live a capella group sang "Rehab" in the background. Gaultier told told Women's Wear Daily, "I think Amy Winehouse was truly a fashion icon," one that he "felt compelled to celebrate...because magazines failed to do so."
Despite Gaultier's kind words, Amy's Dad, Mitch Winehouse, wasn't feeling it. He tweeted, "We don't support the Jean Paul Galtier collection. It's in bad taste."
