Swing Dancing, Some Break Dancing…Plus Help Set A World Record!

One of the first things I did when I got here was enjoy swing dancing at Rosa Parks Circle with The Grand Rapids Original Swing Society's Tuesday Swing.  It’s fun watching people from so many different walks of life, come together and dance!  The Tuesday Swing Dancing happens every Tuesday night (go figure) at different locations downtown. Best part is, it’s free to get involved.

  This week they were once again dancing at Rosa parks Circle.

We even got to see the guys from 61SYX TEKNIQUE  do a little Break Dancing!

Next week, Tuesday Swing happening at Ah Nab Awen Park.  The week after, (July 19^th),  Tuesday Swing's back at Rosa Parks’ Circle where they’re hoping to have 1200 people swing dancing so they can break the world record.  So if you’re looking for something to do, like to dance and want to help set a world record, then come on down.
