Sun of a Beach: Style Guide

So...you're coming to Sun of a Beach on Friday? You probably want to know what to wear, right?

Get ready because downtown Grand Rapids is about to be transformed into paradise! You'll be hanging with your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand. The best part? The whole deal is only $10!

Here's what you'll get:

• Access to our fun downtown beach party! (Complete with sand, sandbar, and FUN)
• Performances from TWO bands!

Now, to the most awesome part...how you will style yourself! Here's what we want you to be thinking about when getting ready. BEACH COMFY. Yeah, so it's like you're going to the beach however, showing up in just a swimsuit probably isn't the best bet ever. Although, we're totally not opposed to that if that's what you wanna do.

Here are some absolute essentials:

1. Sunglasses

Sunglasses this time of year are an absolute MUST! There is no denying it. You'll want to keep your eyes protected as the sun sets over downtown GR.

2. Flip Flops/Sandals

Nothing is worse than sand in your socks and shoes. Make it easy on yourself...just throw some sandals or flip flops on your feet!

3. Sunscreen

Nothing is worse than a nasty sunburn. Make sure to pack that sunscreen in your beach bag!
