There are many reasons why you shouldn't drive drunk, mainly because you're dangerous and stupid, this is a prime example.

Police in Chicago thought a man was just being friendly when he flagged them down to say "hello" while driving.

The 57-year-old then continued to head down the road after greeting the officer, unfortunately he was driving erratically. The same officer who he said "hello" to then stopped him and found he was driving on a suspended license and had a blood alcohol level of .210.

The man was then charged with two counts of DUI, driving with a suspended license and illegal lane usage.

Silver lining: He seemed to be a friendly drunk?
