Social Networking Teens Are More Likely To Smoke & Drink!
This isn’t good … new research is suggesting that your kids may be more susceptible to smoking and drinking the more he or she logs onto social networking sites, like Facebook.
Apparently, the more your teen sees pictures of other friends, family members or celebrities smoking, drinking or using drugs – the more likely he or she is to start thinking that it’s okay to do the same thing. Yikes!
Do you remember when researchers said the same thing about television and movies? Well, they’re still saying that too, but now you can add all of the stuff you and I are exposed to while surfing the net.
Note to self: Close your eyes, but keep listening to Channel 957!!
