It's pretty common knowledge nowadays that the advertising industry is pretty sexist.  When an advertisement targets a certain demographic they target it HARD and try to pander to all of the stereotypes of that demo.  

Advertising has very little room for niche markets so they need to make sure they hit as broad an audience as possible, even if that means stereotyping their audience.  Well, a British sketch comedy show, That Mitchell and Webb Look, took this prevalent sexism and turned it into a comedy extreme!
