The drama continues for the Real Housewives' franchise and its stars. Last month, the suicide of Beverly Hills Housewives' husband Russell Armstrong  made headlines, along with speculation about how Bravo would handle the upcoming season. In the news this week-- 4 New York Housewives have gotten the axe. Bravo announced Saturday that Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop, and Kelly Bensimon will not be returning for season 5 of the hit show. Perhaps the strangest RH buzz was the "kidnapping" of  DC Housewife Michaele Salahi.

Last Wednesday after not seeing his wife for several hours and then receiving a suspicious phone call from the otherwise MIA Michaele, her husband, Tariq, became concerned. E! News reports Michaele's manager made the following statement:

"It is our belief as of last night, Michaele Salahi may have been kidnapped or abducted and is being held under duress and forced to tell persons, including authorities, she is OK."

Why jump to this conclusion? Well, in that suspicious phone call, Michaele told Tariq she was visiting her mother who lived nearby... but the call had come from  an unlisted Oregon number. Tariq phoned his  mom-in-law, only to find she knew of no such plans. He then informed police. Who, bizzarely, tell him that they have already heard from Michaele. She had phoned prior, letting them know she was fine and just going through some family issues.  Not buying his wife would simply call the police out of nowhere, Tariq believed his wife's captors to be forcing her to communicate with police. Sound weird already? Wait for it.

Cut to-- Tariq getting an email of Journey guitarist's, Neal Schon, uhhh, private parts. How does this all fit together? Well, as it turns out, Michaele was not abducted, but rather, ran off with Schon, her apparent lover of 2 years, and former friend of the couple.

Not surprisingly, Tarik has now filed for divorce and he's got a few things to say about his estranged wife in the E! News clip below. (Also not surprisingly, language may not be suitable for younger viewers.)
