The wounds from the data breach at Target have barely healed and now another retailer has possibly been the subject of a data breach. Reports are stating that home improvement store Home Depot may have experienced a credit card data breach.

According to the website Krebs on Security, multiple banks have said that they are seeing evidence that Home Depot stores may be the source of a pretty sizable new batch of stolen credit and debit cards that went on sale this morning in the cybercrime underground. Home Depot has said that they are working with banks and law enforcement agencies to investigate reports of suspicious activity.

Krebs is also saying that it looks like the perpetrators of this breach could be the same group of Russian and Ukranian hackers that were behind the massive breaches on Target, P.F. Changs and others within the last year.
