Considering strolling through downtown to check out ArtPrize this weekend, but afraid that a 6-ton satellite might land on your head?  Don't be.

NASA says the 6-ton satellite will soon be crash landing onto earth will not be landing in North America.

Here is NASA's official statement as of Wednesday afternoon:

Re-entry is expected sometime during the afternoon of Sept. 23, Eastern Daylight
Time. The satellite will not be passing over North America during that time
period. It is still too early to predict the time and location of re-entry with
any more certainty, but predictions will become more refined in the next 24 to
48 hours.

So NASA says we are safe.  At least from crashing satellites.  Space aliens?  That's another story.
