By "Breaking Bad" candy I mean candy that looks like the blue meth from the TV show.

The kids are 9 and 10-years-old, and they got suspended for two days for bringing the rock candy to their school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. If you follow the TV show, then you know that's the same city the show is set.

So, like good kids, they were sharing the candy with their friends That's when school officials saw it was candy marketed to resemble the blue meth from "Breaking Bad."

Mom thinks the school blew this out of proportion because, after all, it was her son's favorite candy.

"It's not really drugs, it's unfair.

-Mom

Am I out of line by thinking that this mother should take some responsibility here? If the kids like the candy, that's fine, but why not take it out of the "Breaking Bad" meth packaging before sending it out with the kids?
