When Megan Fox left 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon,' it seemed that her relationship with director Michael Bay (who she jokingly refered to as Hitler) was over and the two would never work together again. But now Bay has announced that Fox is joining his 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot.

This comes from Michael Bay's own website, where he says "TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!" That's not much to go on, but since there aren't very many female characters in the 'TNMT' canon, it seems very likely that Fox would be playing April O'Neil.

O'Neil's character is something of a catch-all. She's been a computer programmer and a TV journalist in various version of the comic books and movies that focus on the four mutated turtles who were taught kung fu and ninja skills from a sentient rat named Master Splinter. O'Neil was very influential on porn star April O'Neil, who took her nom de plume (or nom de porn)  from 'TMNT' and cosplays as the character.

Of course, there's all sorts of other options for who she might play, though it seems unlikely that she'll be a turtle. Regardless, it's nice to hear Fox and Bay made amends, as some movie feuds last a lifetime. Last we heard 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' had a May 16, 2014 release date, but more as this develops.
