Meet Zoro – Christine’s Pet of the Week!

Zoro [Christine George/Townsquare Media][/caption]The Humane Society of West Michigan brought in Zoro, a 13-year-old Maltese/Poodle Mix who was an owner-surrender but is looking for his new home. Don't let Zoro's age discourage you from adopting him. Just because Zoro is considered a "senior" doesn't mean he acts like one. He's a little dog which means he's still got plenty of life to live and love to give. However, because Zoro is older he would do best in a home with older children or ones who are more respectful.

Zoro [Christine George/Townsquare Media][/caption]Not only will Zoro make the perfect lap dog but he's also FREE to adopt because he's part of the "Silver Paws Program" where dogs 7 years and older have the adoption fee waived.

Summer camp is currently underway and you can still get your kids signed up and registered here. Sit down with your child and find out what class would best suit their needs. You can also e-mail the Humane Society at camps@hswestmi.org.
