This week, the Humane Society of West Michigan brought in Toto, a 5-year-old beautiful brindle American Staffordshire Mix. Toto was brought in as a transfer from another shelter and he really needs a loving home! If it's just you or you have a full family, it doesn't matter Toto loves people and loves attention! He recently had surgery on his tail but is feeling all better and is ready to find his forever home.

The cat special we've been talking about all month is still currently going on. 5 month and older cats have waived adoption fees for the entire month of November. But you can't forget about the elderly! As an incentive to get senior cats into loving homes, The Humane Society is offering free distemper vaccines for life if you adopt a cat who is 7 years or older.

If you're looking to get out and show your thanks, November 25, the day before Thanksgiving, the Humane Society is having a fundraiser at Olive's Restaurant on Wealthy Street. From 5-10 p.m., 20% of your bill will go towards helping out the Humane Society of West Michigan. They will also be there handing out dog and cat treats on your way out to take home. Find out more about the event here.
