You can't help but not fall in love with this precious girl named Stinker. Just look at those puppy dog eyes! They make you melt!

Although she's got the puppy dog eyes, Stinker is a 6 1/2-year-old Pitbull and she's brindle! I love dogs with brindle coats! She's energetic, lovable and is in need of a loving family. I was told that she's good with kids however she'd rather prefer to be the only animal in the family.

Stinker is also part of Project B.A.R.C. Heather from the Humane Society of West Michigan explained to me the project is where the shelter partners with the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center to allow certain dogs to live on site at the detention center for 3 weeks. Chosen youth are responsible in taking care and training the dog. This  benefits both the youth and the animal! You can get more information about Project B.A.R.C here.

Also, the "Name Your Own Cat Price Special" is still going on but only for a few more days... until the 31st!! So now is the time to get in and find the cat that you want to take home.

To find out what animals are at the Humane Society of West Michigan you can visit their website or call them at 616.453.8900.

But you really don't want to pass up on Stinker!
