Kittens are still $95 but cats, 5 months and up, are a "Name Your Own Price Special"

Tomorrow (Thursday, 10/29), is National Cat Day, and the Humane Society of West Michigan is partnering with Uber to bring kittens to your business from 11a -3p! If you go on your Uber app and request a kitten car the Humane Society will come to your business with a bunch of kittens for you and co-workers to play with! It costs $30 but all the proceeds go directly to the shelter. Plus, you can split the cost with everyone in the office and it'll be a nice little break from work. You get to play with kittens! Who doesn't love that?!

Also, now through this Saturday (10/31) the Humane Society of West Michigan is holding a Feed Our Furry Friends Food Drive. At any participating Spartan Nash store (D&W, Family Fare, and Forest Hills Foods) you can drop off pet food and treats. This includes both dogs and cats and dry and wet food is needed. You can bring something from home and drop it off or if you're going grocery shopping, buy a couple cans of food (or even a toy) and drop it off for the drive. This will support the shelter and the Kibble Konnection program, a pet food bank program which helps low-income pet owners provide food for their pets. In addition, any Paws brand pet food you purchase, 5% of the profits will be donated to the Humane Society of West Michigan.

For more information about the food drive and any other events going on at the Humane Society visit the website here.
