Wednesdays are my favorite days here at Channel 95.7, because the Humane Society of West Michigan stops by and brings me a new animal to fall in love with.

Today, Nicole from the Humane Society brought in Lucy and I'm pretty sure everyone in the office immediately fell in love with her. (In fact, they disappeared with her for about 10 minutes.)

Lucy is a three-month-old lab/Terrier mix, and really would make any home her home. She seriously loves everybody.

We don't want to forget about the older pets up for adoption. The Humane Society of West Michigan has their Silver Paws Program.  Any senior pet, dog or cat, seven-years of age and older, is FREE. Every one of the pets at the Humane Society have been spayed or neutered, has had all of their vaccinations, and completely are checked by their vets. They truly are, ready to go.

You can get all the information on adopting, by visiting the society’s website or call (616) 453-8900.
