If you want an extra special experience at the zoo, wait until Friday night and check out the Twilight Sensory Safari. Learn how animals use their senses to adapt to life in the dark.  The safari includes a tour of the park after dark with an animal encounter and hands on activities for kids.  Admission for the special night is $9 per person and requires you to pre-register.
