GRPD Asking For Info From Assault Victim In Eastown [Video]

A fight involving a knife in Eastown put Aquinas College on lock down last night. Police are asking for assistance after one suspect got away.

WZZM 13 reports that the incident happened on the sidewalk of Wealthy Street between Norwood and Woodmere just before 10:00 p.m.

Police say several people got into an argument, two suspects threw punches, and one pulled a knife. Bystanders took the man with the knife to the ground and held him until police arrived on scene, but the other suspect was able to get away.

Police are asking one of the victims, who left before they arrived, to help them with information on the fight so they can apprehend the second suspect.
