Grand Rapids Police Department Announces New K-9 Teams

The three K-9 teams started their new assignments earlier this month with the Grand Rapids Police Department.

New to the K-9 unit include Officer Jeff Dionne and Atos, Officer Peter Thompson and Kilo, and Officer Doug Stevens and Jack.

Dionne, Atos, Thompson, and Kilo will patrol the West Service Area, and Stevens and Jack will be assigned to the South Service Area.

According to WOOD-TV 8 this brings GRPD up to 8 K-9 teams.
