The members only pre-sale for Frederik Meijer Garden's Summer Concert Series started at 9 a.m. Saturday, and by 11 a.m. nine of the scheduled shows had already sold out. 

Harry Connick, Jr.'s show sold out first, followed quickly by O.A.R. After only 20 minutes of sales, five of the concert series' 30 shows had sold out.

Connick, O.A.R., Steve Miller Band, The Beach Boys & Temptations, Colbie Caillat & Christina Perri, Diana Krall and Styx all sold out within the first 40 minutes of ticket sales. The season-ending Tony Bennett show sold out soon after, followed by The Doobie Brothers.

A tenth show, Matt Kearny, sold out around 11:30 a.m., and the "Under The Sun Tour" featuring Sugar Ray, Better Than Ezra, Uncle Kracker, and Eve 6 became the eleventh sell out around noon.

Local Spins' John Sinkevics reports that members were lined up to get tickets as early as 6 a.m.

Tickets were also available online, with some member having better luck securing their tickets that way.

Tickets for the Summer Concert Series go on sale to the general public May 9 at 9 a.m.
