Join in on the Grand Rapids Heart Walk! Walk to a healthy heart!

The Grand Rapids Heart Walk is an annual non-competitive walking event designed to bring public awareness to physical activity and a heart-healthy lifestyle, while raising critical dollars needed to fund the lifesaving mission of the American Heart Association. Walkers come out to support the fight against our community's No. 1 cause of death which is heart disease and the No. 4 cause of death which is stroke. Participating in the Heart Walk is as easy as tying your shoes! Walk as part of your company team, or form your own team with family and friends. By participating in the Grand Rapids Heart Walk on Saturday, October 11th, you are helping to save the lives of the ones you love.  Visit www.GrandRapidsHeartWalk.org for more information, or call Megan Crepeau at 616-482-1502 for more information.

This year's Heart Walk is in downtown Grand Rapids at Ah-Nab-Awen Park on Saturday, October 11th.  The park is located at 220 Front Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

Brisk walking for as little as 30 minutes a day has proven health benefits, such as providing increased energy and circulation, as well as reduced risk of heart disease. The Heart Walk is designed to help participants understand this critical message, join with others and generate a renewed commitment to heart-healthy living through walking.”
