Additional Information

Please join us on Sunday, October 14th for the 1st Annual Grand Rapids Strollathon at Johnson Park! Scheduled event day entertainment includes face painting, a clown, balloon animals and games.

The Strollathon is the signature event of the International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF). This fun-filled family event, led by local volunteers, raises crucial research dollars and public awareness of Rett syndrome (RTT) in communities across the country. Since 2004, IRSF volunteers and families have helped raise over $6.8 million, and have grown the Strollathon program from four events to a planned 22 events in at least 25 locations this year. The day brings together the children and women living with Rett syndrome, their families and support systems, and the community for a fun day that includes music, food and plenty of children’s activities.
