The youth-focused, social change-oriented non-profit DoSomething and musical quintet Fifth Harmony on Wednesday launched the #ImABoss campaign encouraging fans to share with their friends what makes them amazing, unique or strong.

The campaign coincides with Fifth Harmony’s releasing its new single “BO$$,” from its upcoming debut full-length album being released in the fall.

Seven in 10 girls believe they are not good enough or do not measure up in some way, including their looks, performance in school and relationships with friends and family members, according to a DoSomething survey.. Owning

The campaign runs through Sept. 9, and is asking contributors to make a sign for friends saying “I’m the boss of … ” and snap a photo of them holding up a sign to share why their friends think they’re unique. The push is to then post those pics on social media with the hashtag #ImABoss and with the campaign’s website.

The campaign also coincides with Fifth Harmony’s summer tour with Austin Mahone. Fifth Harmony is comprised of AllyBrooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello and Dinah Jane Hansen.

The group just completed its first arena tour, opening for Demi Lovato‘s Neon Lights Tour with a Grand Rapids concert on March 23.

“We believe that everyone is the boss of something,” Hernandez said. “The #ImABoss campaign is exactly in line with our new single BO$$ because it’s all about owning and sharing what makes you confident and strong.”

Naomi Hirabayashi, DoSomething’s chief marketing officer, said: “We’re fan girling over working with Fifth Harmony this summer and excited to see Harmonizers across the country take action on an important cause.”

As a part of the #ImABoss campaign, fans can enter to win prizes, including the chance to meet Fifth Harmony and act as the quintet’s boss for a day for $12,500 scholarship money and the chance for pictures to get featured on the #ImABoss microsite.

To participate, sign up and share photos at www.dosomething.org/boss or text “BOSS” to 38383.
