Detroit Man Sets World Record: Most Times Stone Skipped

65 Skips! That's Crazy!

We can barley fathom 65 skips but Maxwell Steiner of Grosse Point Woods, is now the new record holder!

This was posted on the official Guinness World Records website:

“The record for the most consecutive skips of a stone on water is 65 and is held by Maxwell Steiner (USA). The cast was achieved at Riverfront Park, Franklin, Pennsylvania, USA on 23 August 2014.

The previous record holder, Russell Byers (who achieved 51 skips at the same location, on 19 July 2007) was one of the witnesses for the record attempt.”
