Could The GR Lipdub Video Be Illegal? [VIDEO]

It’s been seen worldwide, from ABC News to Newsweek magazine, and everywhere.

But now, could Rob Bliss, GVSU students, or anyone else who lipsyncs to a copyrighted song on You Tube be breaking federal law?

Although supporters say it would allow record labels to go after people profiting from their artists illegally, it also doesn’t take into account casual users uploading anything with licensed music from a daughter’s dance recital, high school class song singer, or even the world famous GR Lipdub.
