Cinnamon Challenge Deemed Dangerous

You’ve probably seen the videos all over YouTube of the “Cinnamon Challenge”. If you haven’t it’s pretty simple. You take a tablespoon full of cinnamon and attempt to eat it. It is actually impossible however, people keep trying.

Well, though it can cause you to puke and need a ton of water in your belly afterwards it is actually way more dangerous than we first thought.

Inhaling so much of a powder such as cinnamon can actually cause a lung infection or disease like emphysema.

Last year alone the poison center got over 200 calls about yahoos who tried the challenge and were experiencing major breathing problems.
