Remember the movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"? It was released back in 1968 and starred Dick Van Dyke and Benny Hill. The car was built by Ford and has a three-liter V6 engine and a dashboard plate from a British World War I fighter plane, a hood that is crafted from polished aluminum, and the boat deck is hand-crafted from cedar.

Well, a Radio DJ on the BBC has bought the car used in the classic film for just under 750 million bucks! Radio 2 presenter Chris Evans bought the vehicle to restore and add to his already extensive collection of vehicles. Believe it or not, Evans bought it from a man who acquired it last year at an auction in Los Angeles for the same price but only then found out it was too long to fit in his garage! Such a sad problem to have. lol
