'Jumanji' was that mid-90s movie with Robin Williams that was ostensibly based on a board game but actually based on a book. November 6, 2012 Parents of children with Autism and sensory issues now have a new option when it comes to going to the movies with their kids! AMC Theatres and The Autism Society have teamed up to provide special showings of movies in a safe and accepting environment on a monthly basis. This month's movie? "Wreck-It Ralph". And the special showing will occur this Saturday, November 10, at AMC Theatres across the country. Locally, families can enjoy the movie at AMC Star Theatre (3000 Alpine Avenue, Grand Rapids).
