Tuesday, 25-year-old Amanda Clayton from Lincoln Park was arraigned in 25th District Court on two felony fraud charges.

April 5, 2012 Last May, a man in a Batman suit was spotted atop one of the buildings in downtown Petoskey. The man, Mark Williams from Harbor Springs, became known across the nation as "Petoskey Batman". He even has his own Facebook page!
It turns out that his building-scaling got him into a bit of legal trouble, and now he needs the help of the citizens of Gotham (or whoever is willing to help) to cover his legal fees. How does he plan to make the money? Well, he's auctioning off his Batman suit on Ebay.

April 2, 2012 Monday is Global Autism Awareness Day, and a popular Michigan landmark will be turning blue tonight to bring more awareness to the cause.
This is called "Light it Blue Michigan," and it's the first time the state is participating in this international event.
Things I learned on facebook today-- April is "Michigan Wine Month", as so declared by Governor Rick Snyder. The idea is to honor Michigan's wide selection of quality wines and the wine industry's significant contribution to the economy. So, let's pop a cork and celebrate!
