Fans of campy late 80's/early 90's films about time travel can rejoice! It's been confirmed that a third installment of the "Bill & Ted" series could be coming to a theater near you!

According to a new interview with Alex Winter, who played Bill in the first two films, there have been talks of a new "Bill & Ted" film, featuring the two original characters as adults.

In an interview with Yahoo, Winters said:

It’s a Bill & Ted movie, that’s what it is. It’s for the fans of Bill & Ted. It fits very neatly in the [series]. It’s not going to feel like a reboot. The conceit is really funny: What if you’re middle-aged, haven’t really grown up and you’re supposed to have saved the world and maybe, just maybe, you kinda haven’t?

A third installment might sound like a bad idea on paper, but think about what could be done with a film like this now in the age of CGI. The possibilities are endless, and I, for one, am pumped about this film.
