Well that's not much of a surprise is it? I mean the U.P. is riddled with trees!

Anyway, the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget announced the tree choice Wednesday, according to WOOD-TV 8. The spruce will be coming from Wakefield, and will be donated by Florence Daniels. Daniels is donating it in memory of her late husband, Jim Daniels.

The tree is scheduled to arrive at the Capitol building in Lansing on October 31 and will be lit up during a ceremony on November 20.
