This generation really is something else.

According to the Huffington Post, A British survey of young people between the ages of 18 and 25, asked them to name five things that were important for their quality of life.

Freedom of speech was number one on the list (81%). But no surprise here, internet was right behind it at 69%... meaning young people would rather have internet over daylight, which came in at #3.

The survey found the average young person uses the internet 78 times a day.

Rounding off the top 5 was hot water (57%) and a healthy diet (43%). I'm surprised a healthy diet was on the list considering all the youth want to do is sit on the internet all day.

They were also asked what they would like to change in order to improve their quality of life and they stated holidays, more sleep, and a bigger social media following (obviously).

I guess who needs daylight when you have the brightness from the computer monitor? Modern-day hippies.
