You Can Now Earn A Degree In Brewing

With Grand Rapids being named Beer City, USA and having USA TODAY readers name us Best Beer Town and Best Beer Scene along with the entire state of Michigan being known for it's crazy amount of breweries, it's no surprise that Ferris State University would be the first ever to offer an actual degree in brewing.

That's right, you can earn an associate's degree in brewing; which means it's a 2-year program.

Students will learn how to manage a bar, the ins and outs of the fermenting process, and brewing as well as small business management.

It's all part of FSU's Hospitality program, which will surely be a much sought after degree considering how many people the beer industry employs in the state of Michigan.
