The storm that moved across West Michigan Saturday, left a lot of debris in it’s path.  As you continue to clean up, the City of Grand Rapids has opened the Yard Waste Butterworth facility at 2001 Butterworth, today to help with cleanup.

The facility will be open until 6 p.m.  Residents just need to show a photo I.D. bring in waste; the facility will accept brush, branches and tree limbs free of charge. Just remember you have to bring it in loose or in paper bags as plastic is not allowed.

If you can’t make it over to the yard waste facility today, they’ll be open Monday through Saturday between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
